Wave Action 2016-17

Water is a powerful force.  In this series I am telling visual stories that might have beginnings and might have endings.  But in these sculptures, time has stopped mid-story.  Some of the figures are swimming through magical waves.  Some are totally engulfed by a volume of water.  Some are navigating a long journey through seemingly endless currents.   Some seem to be taken by the water itself.  In each sculptural story I hope the audience will fill in the beginnings and endings dependent on their own experiences in and on the water.
